E3! Fever : Announcements - Sony Vita

Sony VITA

Sony Announces PlayStation Vita At E3.

PSP fans got a christmas gift from Sony, the next PSP aka PSP Vita. We see how it performs @ E3 and what are the '+' and '-' of it.
'PSP with touch screen and motion sensing' this statement almost described latest PSP VITA (renamed PSP NGP).
A 5 inch OLED panel with back sensers, 2 cameras both in front and back full HD, 2 analog sticks and rear touchpad. Its lighter than PSP and got glossy start n pause buttons. Volume buttons are like ipod and it also got a Dpad nice n smooth. A pair of smooth plastic indents on the back for your fingers to rest on also converting into rear touchpad as mentioned before. Now it all depends on quality of games for its future success.

However despite some cool new features and changes, its still isn't that impressive as the-next-psp should be thats what i felt. Playing with rear touch panel and looking on screen simultaneously feels quite uncomfortable. Also there not much improvement as far as looks are concerned. Games that were demonstrated were again very childish just like PSP games. However uncharted n god of war save some grace. Much was expected but as compared to upcoming consoles and there innovations this one fell short. Technology is changing far more rapidly with time, we see next level of touch screen, motion sensers, augmented reality and high quality games. If games are still as bad as former PSP then i can assure that company is gonna face losses no matter how much glossy the console is.
Looking forward for games and graphical details to be atleast comparable to PS or xbox (considering small size and limited functionality but the processor they boast should show some beef). Winding this up with few more pics.
