'Google', a name which is ruling all over the cyber world has yet again struck an eye raising deal, not because of the 12.5 billion tag but because of the long term benefits in future. After a couple of flop products namely Google Buzz and Google+, Google now realized that they have to put their steps on right track and bloom every possibility of gaining success. 'Android', another revolutionary platform which is on a killstreak of old ineffective mobile OS like Symbian and Bada, is definitely a soft and fruitful target for any big company.
What is worth noticing is that how cleverly Google took over Motorola Mobility to distribute their amazing operating system along with the best looking, feature loaded mobile phones(Motorola) without any complication of cross-licensing agreements. The company’s US $12.5 billion acquisition of Motorola Mobility and its 17 000 cellular telephony patents represents a belated, begrudging acknowledgement that patent hoarding, no matter how odious, is a big part of the technology business. The patent arsenal also makes rivals such as Apple less likely to pursue patent litigation whose result could be mutually assured destruction.
